It is nearly impossible to control this app.

The touch screen is way off. You click on the right side, and the left side acts as if you clicked it. This game is screwed up!

It is rather odd to think this game is a throwback game, but it is. Song Summoner is beyond a doubt the best iPod Classic video game ever made. The ability to use your music as characters was revolutionary. You could level up your music just by listening to the songs out of game. Play count is key. This game preserves many of those original elements that made Song Summoner the greatest iPod Classic game. It is certainly not Final Fantasy, but it is the difference that make this game a worthwhile play. I highly recommend it to all RPG fans!

I always played this game on my iPod and it was extremely fun but then I downloaded it on my iPhone 5 and it is completely screwed up. The clicky thing wont work (its very very off) and its constantly in a portrait position. This game needs a new update for the newer phones because it wont work.

I’m giving this a 4-star review because it truly is an amazing game — if you aren’t on IOS 8+. That being said, it is entirely unplayable if you are, and it has been a long time since it stopped working.

look i know this game is old, but i paid good money for it. it isnt working on my iphone 5. the aspect ratio is off or whatever and clicking the screen isnt workig. i cant get past the start menu. PLEASE FIX IT

I played this game on my iPod touch and I have to say, this game is even better than its iPod counterpart! There are some issues with this version however. First, the game does seem to work on iPhone 8, but the touch screen in-game is a bit wonky, especially when trying to start the game. Also, I need to point out how not being able to save during a boss battle really sullied the game a bit. You could get to a point during the fight in which youll want to restart, but you cant and it may result in you losing some of your best units. Because of this, it may also result in forcing the player to start a new game. Other than that, the game is still a very solid RPG that I recommend to anyone with an iPhone.

For some reason when I try and play the game the screen is stuck in portrait view and the cursor is then off. So I cant play the game at all. Theres half of the screen that I cant click on and it acts like the screen is locked in portrait when its not in the settings or options menu. Pleas fix this Id love to play the game but I cant.

Touch screen isnt calibrated correctly and you cant change the screen orientation. Its impossible to play.

While this game is wonderful, I havent played in years and wanted to replay it. The only problem is I cant get passed the main menu. Please fix this so new people dont feel ripped off and enjoy the game

I had this game for my iPod video and I loved it. Apple removed it from the store so I lost $5. Now I finally buy the iPhone app because I cant get it on my iPod. Total waste of $9! Aspect ratio is all off. Cant rotate screen. And, oh yeah, you cant get past the main menu. So theres another loss of money. Fix the app or start giving out refunds to all the people who you cheated.

Need to be fixed to be compatible for ios8 I cant start the game on my iPad because it feels like the games calibration is off....if you can fix this I will gladly give it a 5 star

Please fix this app so I can play it now. I didnt waste $8.99 for an unusable app. Refund me and take it off the app store, or fix it.

I downloaded this game because I was a big fan of the iPod classic version, but it wont go past the main screen and the last time it was updated was 2011 -.- waste of money.

This game is soo fun! The story is intriguing and theres no problems on my ipod touch. The graphics are good too and I love the idea of making your troops out of your music.

I love this game, and never got the chance to finish. I would love to be able to play this again, sadly, although it does still play, the touch gameplay is completely screwed up. If this game could get an update to fix this problem, I would definitely give it 5 stars again.

"Last updated: July 2011" That says it all. Doesnt work on newer phones, doesnt work with newer iOSs. Do not purchase.

I used to have this game on my old phone and now that I got a new one I cant even play it anymore because of the compatibility issues. Ive been waiting for a while now and still nothing. At this point I wish I could take my money back because it doesnt seem like they have any intention to even bother fixing this problem.

The game is stuck in portrait mode still and your curser is way off. You have the option to fix it in your options but you cant reach that far with your curser. So your stuck in the curser hell. Until they fix it I give 1 star. When they fix it I give 5 star. Its a shame they havent fixed this.
